Jalapenos in Peoria

Food was good but the rice is really soft and soggy. The price on menu wasn't the love I got charged didn't notice till I left. But is still.go back because the chicken I ordered was great. Adult beverages barley had any alcohol in them just juice not even a little buzz.

Our waiter (Rudy) is great and the food was wonderful.

Several friends recently met for dinner at Jalapeno's in the Metro Center. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. They were able to serve a large group of folks (14 in all) at the same time. Our food was hot and tasty. The menu was diverse - there was something for every taste. Parking was ample. We will definitely return.

Got 2 orders of #25 to go.... The enchiladas were horrible! We ordered at restaurant and took it home which was 2 mins ride from restaurant... The food was cold... We always get the #25 and usually love it but this time the food was cold and enchiladas tasted awful!

Great food every time. I'm a picky eater and don't like rice, but I always ask for extra rice here! Their salsa is great the guacamole is heavenly. My wife loves their margaritas. The service is second to none in the peoria area. 10/10 will continue eating here!

I love this place! I had an enchilada with beans and rice. The food was seasoned very good and the prices were reasonable. Christian the waiter was super nice! The food came out in less than 10 minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Firstly my children thought the salsa was amazing! Served with fresh tortilla chips. Server was extremely nice. Lots of staff stopping by to check on you was almost too much But I guess better than the opposite of not getting asked. Food was great typical authentic Mexican cuisine served hot and felt really fresh. Nice vibe to the place.

I give 3 stars. Only because the service is lacking big time. The food is 5 stars. We waited 10 minutes before anyone even came to take a drink order, and that was after I went and got someone. I had to go find someone to get silverware after our food sat for 5 minutes once it came out. It seems like they're too cheap to have enough people staffed on a daily basis. The staff looked very upset as well. It's really too bad, because the food is the best Mexican food in Peoria. I've been there twice, and it's been the same both times.

I couldn't decide if I wanted the red or the green tomatillo salsa, so I got both. That was the correct decision, and I will do that from now on!

First timer who was not impressed. The only good thing I had was the salsa that comes before your meal. The chips were stale. I had the steak fajita. The meat was a bit overdone and the tortillas were a bit chewy. The portions are a bit small. One of our guests plates got sent back due to having a hair on the plate. The Tea was more water than tea. Needless to say I wont be returning anytime soon. The only thing besides the salsa that was any good may have been the fried ice cream.

excellent! From the chips, salsa&guacamole to the burritos and steak fajitas, everything had its unique flavor not overboard on salt or other flavors. The staff was helpful and plentiful. The place was clean! Very nice experience. We will be returning!

Another birthday celebration with friends and it was fast and delicious. The table side guac was a bit spicy, but so tasty! The mole was yummy as were the chicken enchiladas. Some of the best salsa we've ever had. It is on the pricier side for casual Mexican food, but worth it. Servers and cashier were friendly too. Great food... fast & friendly service. Menu prices are reasonable. I was a bit put off though that I got charged an extra $3.50 when I asked for a side of queso cheese with the free chips they bring when you first sit down. The first time I thought maybe it was a mistake, but then they did it again on my second visit too. Food was still great though & I'll still definitely return. Yumm!

As busy as I am, I have to take time to say how great this place is. They have possibly the best salsa I've ever tasted. And their food really is a step above most other places. The pork tacos I got were the best tacos I have ever had. So fresh and uniquely seasoned and flavorful. I wish I was in Peoria more often so I could eat here more often.

Very good authentic Mexican. Santa Fe nachos are my go to and the table chips and salsa are addicting! Always friendly staff. Best Mexican in Peoria!

Fire margaritas. Mine is a 27 oz peach on the rocks. The dip featured is a bean and queso dip. The beans are seasoned well and not too spicy. I had ordered a burrito with rice and beans on their lunch menu for $7.50. Over all great food and not too pricey
